Love La Habra Serve Day is this Saturday

Volunteers kick off at Portola Park at 8 am on Nov. 7, then head out to projects around town.

If you’ve been meaning to give back to La Habra, this Saturday is an easy place to start.

Love La Habra’s 2026 Serve Day runs Saturday, Nov. 7, from 8 am to noon. It’s a citywide volunteer day where churches, businesses, residents, service clubs, schools, sports groups and the City all pitch in on projects around town.

How the morning works

Everyone starts with a kickoff rally at 8 am at Portola Park, 301 S. Euclid St. There will be a DJ and breakfast sandwiches from Chick-fil-A at La Habra Marketplace. After the rally, volunteers split up and head to the project team they signed up for.

Signing up

You pick a project team ahead of time on the Love La Habra website. Spots are going fast: when the sign-up page was last updated, more than half of the projects were already full. If you want in, register soon at lovelahabra.com/2026-Serve-Day. The site also has an option for businesses that want to sponsor the day.

Love La Habra is funded by local businesses, organizations and residents, and works with the national group Love Our Cities.
